Mo-B-Dick nailed the start. Great job, Brent!
What a great night of sailing! Winds out of the north at 10-12 knots, a fairly flat river and nine boats on the line.
Mo-B-Dick won the start, but Nanuk had great speed and forced Raven and Mo-B to take her stern. The fleet was close to the first mark, but then Raven pulled her usual fast one – jetty ducking on the Washington shore – to build a comfortable lead by the second mark. Nanuk’s crew provided entertainment for the committee on the way by, apparently forgetting that committee usually has a camera. :-0
Overall it looked like everyone sailed well and had fun. Great job, guys!

Race Committee got a kick out of watching Sleazy Dog pass Warrior and Enchantress, even if it didn't last...
See more photos of the race here.
